Our Team: Briana Johnson

Briana Johnson is the oldest of 3 children. She has 2 younger brothers, one whom is serving with US Army in Afghanistan. Briana grew up in a small city of 17,000 people in Ohio.

Briana joins Graceland as an intern from Lincoln Christian University in Illinois. She was introduced to Colette and Jay by the Chairman of the Graceland Board, Steve Dorey and it's been a friendly growing relationship ever since. Jay and Colette saw qualities in Briana as a high school student that they realized would fit well at Graceland and over the years, Briana began to feel that Graceland would be a good place to work, try her hand at teaching and experience living in a foreign country.

Briana enjoys travelling and has visited Canada, Mexico (twice) and Romania as well as many places in the United States. She is a songbird and loves to sing but she also enjoys camping and fishing. In her free time she crochets scarves as a hobby, enjoys watching movies and hanging out with friends.

What does she hope to learn from this experience at Graceland? Briana hopes to learn more about who God created her to be, what her gifts and talents really are and how to live in a cross-cultural setting.

Briana will be with Graceland for the fall 2011 semester.
