Graceland: So, you are the church planter! Why do you want to plant a church in Krakow?
Tomek: Good question! God called me to this work and I believe we can make a difference in this city. I think the way we do things is attractive to people in our neighbourhood, because they can see that there is a difference between having a relationship with God and being a part of a religion. We have something great to give to the people in this city.

Graceland: What's your hope for the church plant's connection with Graceland and vice versa?
Tomek: My hope is already a reality and now it’s getting stronger and stronger. Our connection is that we’re knit together. I’m learning more and more what it means to have synergy. It’s not about what Graceland does and what the church plant does, it’s about what WE do. We are really interdependent: we bless each other and we can’t survive without each other. Together we are fulfilling the call God has on our lives.

Graceland: Is English something that will really grab people's attention?
Tomek: It’s not just English, it’s so much more. The North American perspective, mentality and culture are very attractive to Polish people. The Graceland team, being all North Americans, is drawing more and more people, and because people are attracted to the Graceland team, I get to engage other Polish people in the great discussions.

Graceland: Do you attend any classes at Graceland? Why or why not?
Tomek: Of course I attend classes. I haven’t attended all classes, but I do attend a couple of times a week. I would like to find a way to get into more classes because I really want to spend more time with these students. They are faithful in their attendance and it’s a great opportunity to sit and discuss important issues and get to know them. We have 70 people coming to our doors each week for English classes, what a great way to connect with our community.

Graceland: What do you like to do to relax?
Tomek: Driving! I love driving my car, ANY car really! And when I’m not driving, I enjoy watching movies and look for the message and then finding ways to discuss those messages with my friends. Movies are a great opening for deeper significant conversations.

Graceland: Tell us a bit about your family.
Tomek: I’ve been married to Sabina for 21 years, Filip is 17 and Ala is 6. I adore my wife, she teaches me something new every day. She is loving, gentle and patient which is important with a guy like me. In one word, my wife is AWESOME and my kids are GREAT!
