Our Team: Kristy Winter

Kristy Winter was born in Zimbabwe, Africa but doesn't remember much because her family moved to Germany when she was 1 year old. Kristy (or Flitzi as her mom calls her) is the middle child of 5 and grew up in a small German town until she moved to her parent's native country, Canada, in 2008. Kristy has been living in Canada since then and will come to Graceland as an intern from Alberta Bible College.

Not only has Kristy lived in 3 different countries, she has also visited the USA, Spain, Holland, France and England. As well as travel and experiencing new places, Kristy enjoys the outdoors, going for walks and being in the company of good friends. And if you’re up for it, she’s always into watching movies.

Kristy decided to do her internship at Graceland (September 2011-May 2012) after having had a great 2 week experience in the fall of 2010. As well as coming to Graceland with the strong recommendation of Colette and Jay, Kristy also feels that God is leading her to this Graceland opportunity to teach her something. She believes it will be the ideal setting for her to gain experience in dealing with people, teaching and figuring out if she is suited to working in a cross-cultural setting.
