Our Team: Adam Lees

Adam Lees is an only child and was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, a city of just over 1 million people. As a typical Canadian, Adam has some very strong opinions about Canada's national pass-time: hockey and football. His favourite teams are the Calgary Flames (Hockey) and the Calgary Stampeders (Canadian Football).

In his leisure time, Adam plays guitar and enjoys reading. Playing games of any kind is the way he most enjoys hanging out with people. Adam is "a Trekkie" meaning that he enjoys the TV programme Star Trek, which makes the senior Trekkies on the team (Jay and Colette) VERY happy!!

Adam has travelled across Canada and the United States and has visited Costa Rica. His first European adventure brought him to Graceland in the fall of 2010 and he is now returning for a year (September 2011- June 2012) as an intern with Alberta Bible College in Calgary. When Colette and Jay first met Adam they saw a commitment to excellence that they felt would be a great benefit to Graceland and immediately invited Adam to return.

During his internship, Adam hopes to gain a deeper understanding of the ways in which God is at work in the world and specifically Poland. Adam is also convinced that during his time in Krakow, that he will learn more about Polish culture, and himself which he will be able to apply to his life once he returns to Canada.
